We’ll be relaunching in February, coming back stronger with a brand new name, and a brand new March box!

For those of you with subscriptions to Brave Girls Book Club, your rolling subscription will be paused, and those with a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription will have the option to pause for the duration of our hiaitus, receive a mystery box if they just have a month or so left of their subscription, or contact us on support@booksthatmatter.co.uk with any queries or requests.

Nope! We’ll be offering the same price, the same value, just bigger and better!

REBRAND: Why is this happening?

Head over and look at our Instagram for a full statement to our lovely community, but in short, we came up against some hurdles, which we’re turning into an huge opportunity to make bold changes to our subscription service and products, to empower and inspire young readers even more powerfully, and striving to be ever more inclusive!

We will be relaunching under a new name, with new branding, and new product offerings as well, and different age ranges! However, as we’ll still be super active on the same social pages (so you don’t need to go anywhere!), we will be sharing the journey with you right here and welcoming all your feedback on what YOU want the future of Brave Girls Book Club to be!

Unfortunately, we won’t be doing a December, January or February box. We will be using this time to rebrand and finesse everything behind the scenes, ready to relaunch with power in the new year! Rolling subscriptions will be paused, and those with 3, 6 or 12 month subscriptions will have the option to pause, receive a mystery box if they just have a month or so left of their subscription, or contact us on support@booksthatmatter.co.uk with any queries or requests.

Can I refer a friend?

Yes you can! We have recently launched our first ever Refer a Friend scheme, so all you’ll need to do is email our team (support@bravegirlsbookclub.co.uk) with your friends full name and email address and they’ll get £5 off of their first Brave Girls Book Club box. Once their order has been placed you’ll then receive a £5 voucher code as a thank you to be redeemed on your next subscription!

How can I change my address?

You’ll need to email our team with your subscription number and new address, and we’ll be able to do this for you. If you’re on a rolling subscription, you will also need to update this in your account, as well as getting in touch with our team, but don’t worry! We’re here to guide you through the process.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to a selected amount of places around the world. If you can’t see your location at checkout, it’s likely we don’t ship there, but if you have any questions please do drop us an email and we’ll be happy to help.

We advise allowing 2-3 weeks for shipping to Europe and between 4-6 weeks for Rest of the World locations. We have updated these time frames to consider current pandemic and Brexit delays.

You, the customer, responsible for any duties and taxes incurred when the parcel crosses international borders.

How can I extend my subscription?

If you’re at the end of your subscription you can renew as soon as the next months box is available to purchase. So, if your subscription finished with the February box, you’ll need to wait until the March box is available before renewing. We’ll also send you an email when it’s time to renew, so keep an eye on your inbox!

Can I order Brave Girls Book Club as a gift?

Yes, of course! You can either purchase one of our downloadable e-vouchers or you can purchase a subscription and pop the recipients name and address details in at checkout so the box will automatically be sent to them.

Unfortunately at this time we cannot add personalised messages.

What is the cut off point for each month?

Our boxes for the following month are available on the 20th of the month previous. So, as an example, our February box will be available to purchase on the 20th of January and so on. If you order before the 20th of the month, then you’ll likely receive the same months box, unless we are sold out. When placing an order, our website will tell you which box you’ll be receiving first.

What will I get in each box?

Every month’s delivery will provide you with:
– 2 x books by female authors
– 1 x branded bookmark
– 1 x collectible patch
– 1 x Brave Girl magazine

Do I need to sign for the delivery?

Our boxes are designed to fit through the letterbox, perfect for busy families.

Are your boxes ethical?

We work really hard to make sure our boxes are as ethical as can be. Our boxes, and outer packaging and made from recyclable materials and are all recyclable themselves. We only work with, and support, independent businesses for all of the goodies inside our boxes. We’re always looking to improve our sustainability, so if have any recommendations, please feel free to reach out!

What is your returns policy?

Due to the subscription nature of our business, we do not accept or offer returns or refunds. This is a term you agree to when purchasing online.

Do you work with different brands/blogger/publisher?
